- Account Information: First name, last name, and email address, provided during sign-up through our authentication provider (Clerk)
- Trip Details: Destination, travel dates, trip type, transportation method, accommodation type, and any additional details you provide
- Family Member Information: Names, age groups, gender (optional), and special needs or requirements for each family member traveling
FamJet is currently a free service. We do not collect or process payment information. If we introduce paid plans in the future, payment information will be handled exclusively by a PCI-compliant payment processor, and this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect those practices.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you access our Service, we may automatically collect:
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type
- Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs
- IP Address: Your Internet Protocol address (hashed where used for security purposes such as rate limiting)

3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide Our Service: Generate personalized packing lists based on your trip and family information
- Manage Your Account: Authenticate you, keep your packing lists associated with your account, and allow you to return to view and edit them

- Improve Our Service: Analyze usage patterns to enhance our recommendations and user experience. When we use your data to train and improve our AI algorithms, we aggregate and anonymize it so that it cannot be traced back to you individually

Important: FamJet does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration.

- Infrastructure Providers: We use standard cloud hosting and database providers to operate the Service. These providers process data only on our behalf and under contractual confidentiality obligations.
4.2 Analytics and Advertising
Important: For visitors located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we do not load third-party analytics or advertising technologies. The following services are only used for visitors outside these regions:

While our Service helps families create packing lists that include items for children of all ages, the account holder must be 18 years of age or older. Information about minor family members is provided by the adult account holder.
